As part of the Day of Networking at Image Campus last Thursday, October 7, we had the pleasure of introducing Cactus to an auditorium packed with students.

Eager to learn about opportunities in the labor market, the students greeted us enthusiastically and showed a lot of interest in our presentation.
We told them about ourselves and showed them three of our cases: The Biggest Band, Neighbours, and Extreme 3D. We also showed the Apple applications we’ve developed, and this turned out to be really interesting.

It was of great value to us to see how the students took in our experiences and how they used them as an incentive to continue studying and working in online media.

RouletteCricket was one of four finalists in Vodafone Mobile Clicks 2010, a competition for new mobile enterprises en Europe. There were 159 participants from all over the continent. RoulleteCricket participated representing the United Kingdom.
Finalists included four enterprises, from the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, and of course the United Kingdom and RoulleteCricket, which finished proudly in second place.
Congratulations to RouletteCricket on the award. We’re honored by their continued reliance on us in their projects.

First, we thoroughly trained in the creation of websites using Teamsite, the platform Bayer uses in the development of its sites. Now, our first site built and programmed using this platform is up and running. We used a Wordpress plugin which accommodates the publication of new notes.

After creating the RouletteCricket site, we got together to make a web-based version of the game. This way, cricket fans can bet online while they comfortably watch matches on TV. The game is available on the website. Bets are open for the next match.

A wooden dummy and his ventriloquist are the latest attraction at the Cactus circus. These zany characters introduce “Be a Cactus,” the iPhone application from Cactus that allows you to create cactuses by the thousands and assign them to your contacts, share them on Facebook, and more.
