A cactus in San Francisco
admin | 2010-06-28We participated in WWDC 2010, the conference of Apple developers that took place in San Francisco during the first week of June.
Along with 5,118 others, we were present at the keynote address, in which Steve Jobs unveiled the iPhone4. Media from all over the world covered this event, and we were there.
During the five days of the event, we participated in various discussions and sessions, in which we learned firsthand how to work with the Mac world.
We came back with a lot of ideas and the wish to share the experience with you, beginning with this summary and some photos.

WWDC by Sebastián
::What I liked most::
The hands-on labs and being able to talk one on one with Apple Developers
::The most interesting session::
The one led by the chief of technology at Pixar about their software development process. Very interesting and a lot of fun
::The session I liked least::
Truth is, I got something out of all of them
::I came away wanting…
them to give us an iPhone 4 to try out
::The most surprising thing::
There were so many people that you had to wait in line even to go to the john
::What I’ve been asked most since returning::
If they gave me an iPhone 4… and the answer is NO!!!
::Why I would go back next year::
To see Mr. Steve unveil the iPhone 5
WWDC by Maria
::What I liked most::
Steve Jobs’s keynote address and the high caliber of nearly all the session leaders
::The most interesting session::
I came away with something interesting from all sessions, but I particularly liked the ones on game development
::The session I liked least::
One on changes in the core foundation of iOS4…
::I came away wanting…
more time between sessions to try things out, and more time to ask questions
::The most surprising thing::
I was surprised at the number of people attending, all of them with at least two WiFi devices (telephone/iPad/notebook computer)
::What I’ve been asked most since returning::
What kind of food they served…
::Why I would go back next year::
There’s a lot to be learned at these conferences… Attending this year helped me better understand all the areas in which we have to keep learning. I think that in the year to come we’ll keep advancing in this learning, and we’ll have new issues to take to the next conference.
